Jérémy Seguda, vice-world champion of sushi

Jérémi Seguda, the chef of the Yumidori restaurant in Chamonix, became vice-world champion, sublimating the art of sushi.

At the end of August 2024, Jérémi Seguda experienced one of the craziest moments of his career as a chef. He became world vice-champion in his discipline even though his participation was not even initially planned.

A competition which takes place exclusively between foreign chefs, the Japanese not taking part in the competition (even if some have Japanese origins), in particular because the judges are Japanese and the results could be biased.

Le Chamoniard wishes to continue to promote the cuisine of the land of the rising sun through the opening of a future restaurant dedicated solely to sushi.
